Dallas AC Repair Guide is an independent resource for homeowners comparing AC repair companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.
Independence
Our editorial rankings are determined solely by our published methodology. No company can buy a higher editorial ranking. Advertising, sponsored placements, and lead or call arrangements are kept strictly separate from editorial picks and are always labeled. If a ranked company is also an advertiser, that relationship is disclosed on the page.
Accuracy and verification
- We record facts from primary sources — chiefly each company’s own website — and date when we checked them.
- We do not fabricate review counts, star ratings, license numbers, years in business, financing terms, warranties, or 24/7 availability.
- Where a fact is unconfirmed, we say so plainly rather than guess.
- License numbers are shown as displayed by the company and flagged for independent verification at the TDLR lookup.
Reviews
We summarize themes and signals; we do not copy review text from Google, Yelp, or other platforms. We do not publish a rating or review count until we have pulled it from a verifiable source.
No pay-to-play editorial
We will not list only companies that pay, will not let a company write its own editorial review, and will not present sponsored ordering as editorial rank. Paid inventory exists (see our sponsored placement policy) but never masquerades as an editorial verdict.
Conflicts of interest
We are not owned by, and do not perform repairs for, any AC company in this guide. We are a comparison resource, not a contractor or a lead broker pretending to be a guide.
Corrections
